The Sharrock Home
ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition is protected by Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System with Always Active™ technology. Enviroguard is proud to support this area's 2011 Extreme Makeover home. Patrick and the Sharrock family's home is protected from termites 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Quarterly monitoring along with a thorough annual inspection ensure that the Sharrock home remains termite free.
In the community, Enviroguard has volunteered pest control and termite control services for the following:
- Extreme Make-Over Home Edition, Sharrock Family (Patrick and parents Michael and Cindy). Provided installation of Sentricon® monitoring and one-year of inspection for termite prevention.
- Prater’s Mill, Dalton, GA provided free control of powder post beetles
- Historic Ringgold Depot, Ringgold, GA provided installation of Sentricon® monitors for on-going termite prevention
- Habit for Humanity – multiple home projects in the North Georgia and Chattanooga, TN areas – providing termite pre-treatments during construction
- Historic Varnell House restoration project in Varnell, GA.
Bugateer Club Offered to Elementary School Classes
The Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) offers the Bugateer Club. This popular program is offered within elementary schools to teach children about insects and the insect world. It includes a Power Point slide show of insect photos that differentiates between beneficial and harmful insects and includes many key facts.
Students are presented coloring books and spider rings to enjoy. EnviroGuard Pest Solutions employees have presented this popular program at a number of elementary school in our Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia service area with a tremendous response from both students and educators. EnviroGuard pest Solutions also provides our own activity sheet with even more “bug” fun for students including a word search and art project.
