Adding a new garage, outbuilding, or addition to your home? Call or have your contractor call us first. The soil and footings should be treated before the slab is poured or the floor system is installed to provide a liquid barrier for termites and other wood-destroying organisms. If you prefer we can also install Sentricon® System after remodeling or new construction is completed.

The Sentricon® Installation Process

1. 800-DIG is contacted. All underground utilities are marked from your building out to 10 feet.

2. Your Sentricon®-certified technician identifies strategic locations for each station. A gas powered auger is used to make holes for the Sentricon® stations.

3. The stations are spaced approximately every ten feet around your home's perimeter depending on the landscaping.

4. The technician installs the stations at ground level.

5. The numbered stations are graphed and remain easy to locate and scan for periodic inspections.

 

The Sentricon® Inspection Process.

1. Our trained technicians arrive at your home. All stations are checked for termite activity. In addition, a yearly total home inspection is conducted as an added level of termite protection.

2. Using a special tool, each station is opened.

3. The cap is removed for access.

4. The bait tube is then carefully inspected. We make a report of activity and maintain thorough electronic records.

5. Termites in this station are feeding on the Always Active™ bait, guaranteeing total colony elimination will occur. Your home is protected from termites.

6. Bait tubes are either returned to the station or replaced with new bait as needed.

7. Barcodes on station caps are scanned during installation.

8. Finally caps are replaced on bait stations.
